Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2025
Welcome to The Male Waxing Company. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (www.themalewaxingcompany.co.uk) and your engagement with our grooming and waxing services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or booking with us. By using our site or booking an appointment, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access our website or use our services.
- About us
This website and the services offered under it are operated by The Male Waxing Company (“we”, “us”, “our”), located at:
Suite 8, 111 Spalding Road, Deeping St James, Peterborough, PE6 8SD, UK
Email: enquiries@themalewaxingcompany.co.uk
Telephone: 07982 422135
We specialise in professional male waxing, grooming, and skincare treatments, provided in a discreet and comfortable environment by a qualified and experienced therapist.
- Scope of services
We offer a range of male waxing and grooming treatments, including intimate waxing, back/chest/leg waxing, as well as eyebrow shaping and related skincare services. A comprehensive list of available treatments, including descriptions and prices, can be found on our website and is subject to periodic updates.
Trained professionals provide all services in accordance with applicable industry standards and hygiene protocols. Treatment suitability may depend on your skin type, hair growth cycle, and overall health. We reserve the right to decline treatment if we believe it is unsafe or medically inadvisable.
- Appointments and booking
Appointments can be made online via our booking system, by phone, or by email. When booking, you must provide accurate personal information, including your full name, email address, mobile number, and any relevant medical or skincare details that may affect treatment.
Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation (by email or text message). Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened or rescheduled, and the full price may still apply.
Repeat no-shows or excessive late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings at our discretion.
- Deposits, payment and pricing
We reserve the right to request a deposit or full prepayment at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Deposits may be required particularly for longer or high-demand treatments.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, as well as cash payments. All prices displayed on our website include VAT (if applicable) and are subject to change without notice. However, once your booking is confirmed, the price agreed at that time will be honoured.
Gift cards are available for purchase and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Cancellation and rescheduling policy
We understand that plans change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible. However, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full or result in the loss of any deposit paid. Missed appointments or “no-shows” will also incur a full fee. This policy helps us protect our business and manage our diary efficiently.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange.
- Client conduct and behaviour
We are committed to creating a respectful, professional, and safe environment for all clients. Any form of inappropriate, threatening, aggressive, or sexually suggestive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the session without a refund. Further action may be taken, including reporting the matter to the police.
You are expected to maintain good personal hygiene and to communicate openly with your therapist about any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or other factors that may affect your treatment.
- Health and medical conditions
Before undergoing treatment, you must disclose any relevant medical conditions, such as skin infections, open wounds, sunburn, rashes, contagious diseases, or chronic health issues. This information is used to assess the suitability of the treatment and to ensure your safety.
If a treatment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate due to a medical condition, we reserve the right to refuse service. In some cases, we may request written consent from a GP or specialist before proceeding with treatment.
- Results and aftercare
Waxing results may vary depending on individual hair growth, skin condition, and adherence to aftercare advice. While we aim to deliver excellent results, we cannot guarantee uniform outcomes for every client.
Aftercare instructions will be provided following each treatment, and it is your responsibility to follow these carefully to reduce the risk of irritation, ingrown hairs, or infection. We cannot accept liability for adverse outcomes resulting from the failure to follow aftercare guidance.
